TexMod is an utility to find, save and modify textures in Direct3D 9 (!)applications. In order to share and distribute texture modifications, packages can be created, which are both compressed and prevent a further modification.
Benefits are that you don’t have to modify any files of your application’s installation and you don’t need any game specific modding tools.
There is a readme included in this .zip file that goes into some detail about how to use Texmod. There is also a Word file available that will tell you How to use TexMod with Madden, as well as a Basic Uniform Tutorial.
Madden Amp is a third-party utility for editing Madden PC franchises and rosters. It was authored by Gommo, with significant contributions from spin16 and Bakersville123. It functions with Madden PC versions 2005, 06, 07, and 08. In addition to standard roster and franchise management, the software features college draft and training camp utilities, which many serious Madden PC gamers consider to be far superior to the in-game draft and camp.
NZA’a Editor version 2.0 is a Roster/Franchise editor that can be used to edit Roster, Franchise and Superstar files. The editor can be used to edit player files, coaches, franchises, schedules, draft classes, injuries and slider settings.
MadWolf is a team swapper used to insert All-Time teams, custom teams and classic teams into franchise files.
JDHalfrack’s Superstar Utility allows users to control almost any aspect of the superstar game mode.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- using “normal” in game camera angles during superstar gameplay
- unlimited creation points
- unlimited timeouts
- calling “back-to-back” timouts
- locking\setting superstar influence
MadMod X was created by Rexpage. It is the program used to install the Football-Freaks Madden Modifications (installation instructions can be found on their pages; FF2009 Mod, FF2010 Mod, and FFXI Mod.) It also includes many editors and utilities on the side, such as NZA’s Editor version 1.3, NZA’s Editor version 2.0, MadWolf Custom Team Swapper, Madden Amp, the Franchise to Roster Converter, the Offensive and Defensive playbook editors, the Playbook Merger, and JD’s Superstar Utility. Those are not the only ones, just some major examples. MadMod X also allows you to make and install your own custom mods.
Heisman 11 is a mod for Madden NFL 08. It is the first and only amphibious mod on FF, utilizing both TexMod as well as MadMod X. 64 NCAA schools are included in this mod as well as their respective jerseys and stadiums. New NCAA themed in game music, logos, soloplayers and menu backgrounds are also installable.
