Now I know in this economy there are a lot of us out there without yobs that are having issues when it comes to money.
It seems that yours truly is no exception…
Recently wifey and I were unable to make a credit card payment for the first time in…well, I don’t exactly know how long it’s been since we’ve missed a payment. As a result my credit card company has shut down my ability to use that card. Wifey doesn’t think that one missed payment should mean that, but there are two things that she is missing….
1. High interest rate (almost 30%), and
2. volitile economy.
If the credit card companies get an opportunity to cut you off, they will take it. That’s why it is important for everyone out there to try to stay as up to date with your finances as you can. I know with all of the job losses and the foreclosures it’s not that easy when you’re worried about how to dress for the next job interview. But you would think that with the fact that the banks have $350 billion worth of bailout money that they would be a little more understanding in this time of crisis.
Trust me, they’re not!
They are not very understanding where someone who has been underutilized for the longest time misses one payment. The upshot is as a result I have had to cancel the auto-responder that I had for this site (for now) as I now don’t have a means to pay for it (again, for now). It actually doesn’t really matter thought as I only had one subscriber the whole time I used the service (namely yours truly). However I am trying to get it back as soon as possible because I have some free giveaways that I’m ready to give to new subscribers. One of which are some tips that could help some of you on your job interviews, it’s from the creator of Killer Interview Secrets, Robert Lawrence.
