Now we all know that the Financial Industry got it’s bailout money with no questions asked. The Big 3 automakers got their bailout money only after they took a blood oath to make better, cheaper and greener cars and kissed the asses of most everyone in Congress.
I wonder what the porn industry is going to offer to kiss while asking for it’s bailout?
Yeah, I saw it on MSN and on Keith Olberman and I still can’t quite wrap my mind around it. Larry Flint, the publisher of Hustler, and Joe Francis of “Girls Gone Wild” fame, are planning to go to Washington to lobby Congress for a $5 billion bailout for the porn industry!!!!!!!!!
Are you kidding me?!?
You’re telling me that with all the porn that is out there, between magazines like Hustler, Penthouse and Playboy, between video houses like Vivid, Zero Tolerance and Wicked, between websites like Naughty America, Reality Kings and Brazzers that the porn industry is hurting?!?
Well, we can’t allow this industry to go under, now can we? I mean think about the “essential services” that the industry provides not just for men who consume porn, but also for the women who consume it with them. Where will we all get our fantasies if the likes of Savannah Stern, Shyla Stylez and Rachel Roxx are not allowed to practice their craft?
I can just hear the panic in Congress now: “Oh my God, I can’t believe it! The porn industry is in trouble!! The sex industry can’t be allowed to go down!!! If it does, we’ll have to have sex with our wives!!!! I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe!!!!!! What are they asking for, $5 Billion?!? Stan, Stan how much have you got on ya?!?!?”
OK seriously I don’t think there is any way this will actually happen, I think Larry and Joe will get laughed out of The District.
But say that they do manage to get their bailout. If that happens then I’m taking a road trip to The District, marching up to the Speaker of the House and demanding to know where my bailout is. I mean come on, I’ve been an Underutilized worker for the past six years!! If anybody deserves a bailout, It’s me!!!!!
